We at “Kaasmakerij Henri Willig” strongly believe in an extensive food safety program. We have put a lot of effort in making the product as save as possible with regards to pre-production, production, education of personnel, cleaning & disinfection, packaging and shipping.
We hold certificates of:

BRC (British Retail Consortium) A level

IFS (International Food Standard) foundation level.

Hygiene code for the cheese factory
To maintain these certificates our company ensures:

Written and checked procedures for every production step from feeding the animals to delivering cheese to the customers

Validation of cleaning and disinfection steps

Well trained personnel that is working according the procedures

All critical process values like time, temperature and pressure are checked and registered

Analysis is conducted according to a written procedure with an appropriate frequency.
